Scandic Stavanger Forus
Scandic Stavanger Forus is a 258-room conference hotel with 19 meeting rooms and total capacity for up to 500 delegates. The hotel is in the Stavanger Forus area – home to a range of Norwegian and multinational companies, especially within the oil and gas industry.
Scandic Stavanger Forus was acquired by Up North together with Hauglandgruppen on a 50/50 ownership deal in December 2021. The property is on a long-term rental agreement with Scandic Hotels.
The Forus area is located just outside Norway’s 4th biggest city, Stavanger, and is recognized as the biggest industrial business area in Norway – home to more than 2 500 companies and 40 000 employees. The hotel is hence strategically located with great exposure towards the business and conference segments. In addition to its 258 guest rooms and 19 meeting rooms of different sizes, the hotel has a restaurant and a lobby bar.
